Our Wedding

Kaela and Alex met while working together in the military in Oregon. While it started as passing work conversations, they ended up on a COVID mission assisting hospitals that were short-staffed due to the influx of patients. They quickly grew close and bonded over their shared love of sports, adventure, and the unique experiences of military life. Fast forward through a few amazing years living in Washington, D.C., and they are now happily settled in Florida, surviving the summer heat and working to make their house a home alongside Alex’s two amazing sons, Preston and Logan. They also have two crazy new puppies, Knox and Margo, and are working hard to get them well-trained. Kaela and Alex can't wait to officially tie the knot and celebrate with all of their favorite people!

Tux vs. Suit: What's the Difference?

We would love for our family and friends to get dressed up with us! We kindly request formal wear for our special day. Men are welcome to wear a suit and tie (no tuxedos required), and women may opt for floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, or formal pantsuits.
